The Renaissance - amazing resources!

The Renaissance began in Italy and soon spread to other parts of Europe. This cultural “rebirth” lasted from the 14th to the 17th century, and brought about many changes in art, literature, music, philosophy, science, government, and other areas. Renaissance thinkers hearkened back to classical influences from Greece and Rome for their inspiration, and rediscovered ideas and knowledge that had been forgotten during the dark ages. This new perspective lead to individuals making new discoveries and devising new technology in many different fields.
