When you click on the Odyssey icon, you will get this log-in section.  Since all students know how to log in, they should be able to log in as they do at school  User name is their first and last, password is a number - usually their lunch number, but again, they should all know this.  The last line must say bsis.  When they log in, there will be a variety of assignments.  Most of these are based on their last MAP test results.  The program automatically creates individualized lessons based on the needs of the student.  There may also be lessons chosen by the teacher for his or her class.  Results are recorded so the teacher can see what progress your child has made.  Obviously, they need to aim for success, not just click in and randomly hit buttons.  Ask your teacher if there are Odyssey lessons on-line that can be used as alternate homework assignments.
