As you know the flu season is upon us earlier this year. Please make sure you are doing some extra precautions to remain healthy. 1. WASH YOUR HANDS AND TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO WASH THEIR HANDS!!!! 2. Use hand sanitizer if unable to wash hands. 3. Cover your cough with elbow not hands. 4. Stay at home if you or your child has a fever 100.0 or higher. 5. Wipe down telephones, door knobs - any high use area, with disinfecting wipes as often as possible.
If we ALL help do all of these few things, HOPEFULLY we can reduce the amount of illness in home and in school.
Thanks, Karen Tucker

| Help your child learn to eat breakfast in the morning.
Though we might like to start our mornings with something as appetizing as
this picture, realistically, we are often happy to grab something as we run
out the door. Remember balance. Cereals low in sugar, fruits,
whole grains, proteins, milk - all provide the nutrition needed for students
to perform better in school. We often find kids who "don't feel well"
in the nurses office and discover they have not eaten any breakfast.
Remember, breakfast is available at school as well. We all want the
best for our kids. This is one simple way to help them..
