Early Dismissal Policy

If a student needs to leave school early due to a doctor’s appointment, etc., please send a note with your child that morning. The student should give the note to the teacher in whose class the child will be leaving early. For example, if your child needs to leave at 11:00, the note should be given to the teacher he has at that time. Should your child need to leave at the end of the day, the note should be given to the 6^th period teacher.

Please note: Early dismissal at the end of the day is allowed only three times per each 9 week period.

If you forget to send a note with your child in the morning, please call the school to make arrangements for early dismissal. We will not interrupt class to have a child dismissed early, except in cases of an emergency.
