An Integrated Approach:

1.  Identify the concept you want your students to understand (Use standards, student interest)
2. Gather resources for information (reading materials, video, internet, people, places)
3. Identify the learning or key point (What we want the students to know)
4. Develop inquiries and activities that allow students to discover the key point or to do something with what they have learned (Plan inquiries using multiple intelligences and orchestrate flow)
5. Assess for understanding (multiple intelligences, rubrics)
